The Best Prices in the Market
We watch the whole of the UK in-bond market and price every wine as competitively as we can. Because we compare across the entire trade rather than a single list, the price you see is, to the best of our knowledge, the best available for that wine in that condition. Should you find the same wine, in the same condition, offered for less, tell us and we will match it. That is our guarantee.
In Bond, or Duty Paid?
Every wine we sell can be bought in either of two ways. The right choice depends on whether you intend to lay the wine down or to drink it.
In bond
The wine remains in a HMRC-bonded warehouse, free of UK duty and VAT. This is the cellaring standard: provenance is preserved, and should you sell the wine on, it changes hands without ever attracting duty. We transfer the stock to your storage account.
Duty paid
We settle UK duty and VAT on your behalf and deliver the wine to your door, ready to enjoy. The price you see is the price you pay, all in.
Cellaring & Storage
Wine bought in bond is held in professional, temperature-controlled bonded storage. If you do not yet hold a storage account, we are glad to arrange one for you.
Delivery
Duty-paid orders are delivered across the United Kingdom. Delivery is quoted on confirmation of your order, once availability is secured.
